Join us Saturday, May 30, at 7:00p.m. in the courtyard for our first family fellowship of the summer. We’ll be showing The Ride on our big screen outside. This award-winning movie by Billy Graham’s motion picture ministry is the story of a fallen bull rider sentenced to community service at a boys camp. It’s a wonderful film for the entire family! Be sure to come early and grab a great dinner at Cafe 3:20.

Earlier this month, Harvest hosted a mother/child morning with guest artist, Jana Alayra. What a great time the kids had singing and dancing with Jana as she ministered to their young hearts the Gospel message of Jesus and how much He loves them. Soon after, everyone enjoyed the beautiful Riverside morning with cupcakes and lemonade on the patio. Once the kids were settled into the Children’s Ministry, Jana was able to share her powerful testimony with the moms in attendance. What a fun-filled morning!

The Jr. High Ministry is having an Open House, Sunday, May 31, after third-service in the Fellowship Hall. This is a great opportunity for parents of new Jr. Highers to get to know Pastor Jon Lee and some of the counselors. Over 19, 000 people attended our Harvest Blacks Hills Crusade over this past weekend! Of those, some 1,519 made decisions of faith. You hear a knock on the door, you look out the window and there they are – representatives from the Watchtower Society or Mormon Church who want to have a conversation with you. Your first reaction might be to hide and hope they’ll go away, but what if you were actually prepared to give a reason for the hope you have?
This month at Come Let Us Reason we’ll begin a three-part class in sharing your faith with the cults. This month, we’ll address Jehovah’s Witnesses. They’ve made a name for themselves by traveling door-to-door and converting people. But how can we defend our beliefs against their objections? What’s the best way of discussing the Bible with them? Join us this Monday, May 11, as we discuss their beliefs, and share with you ways to dialogue on your doorstep.
