Crusade Connection

October 19th 2009

134_esteranddaughter_400px

This week on the Harvest Community Blog, we wanted to share with you about Crusade Connection, Harvest Crusades’ official blog.

For the past 20 years Harvest Crusades has shared the Gospel with over four million people. In that time, more than 300,000 people have made professions of faith in Jesus Christ.

Behind those numbers is a story. It’s the story of how people were lost and without hope, and how Jesus Christ found them, saved them, and gave them the hope of heaven.

Crusade Connection is there to connect you to the people behind that story.

Meet Melissa and her mom, Esther. They came to the crusade together and recommitted their lives together. Learn about Adam, who had grown bitter and resentful after losing his mother at the age of three. Then when Pastor Greg called out, “Come just as you are,” Adam felt the tug in his heart and made a public declaration of his faith and trust in Christ.

Crusade Connection will not only connect you to the people of Harvest Crusades, it will connect you with the music and the message of Harvest Crusades. You’ll read insightful articles on guest musicians like Chris Tomlin and watch behind-the-scenes videos of Pastor Greg Laurie as he shares his passion for the gospel message.

Visit Crusade Connection at cc.harvest.org and experience all that God has accomplished through the Harvest Crusades.Crusade Connection

CRUX – Jr. High Ministry

October 15th 2009

CRUX is the Jr. High ministry at Harvest. Pastor Jon Lee leads this study with age-appropriate Bible studies geared towards your student and what effects them in their lives now. With studies on Wednesday nights, Friday nights and three services on Sunday mornings, this is definitely a way for your Jr. Higher to plug into a deeper relationship with the Lord and fellowship with other kids in a fun and meaningful way.

CRUX is also helping to raise up the next generation of Worship leaders. Parents, you ‘ll be blessed by this talented group of young musicians as they minister in praise and worship at each service. Whether it’s an unplugged duo or a full band, the Jr. High ministry features contemporary music your kids can relate to.

If you have a child, grandchild , niece or nephew in grades 6-8, be sure to check out CRUX. For more information on service times and upcoming events, visit their website here.

Here’s a slideshow from a recent Friday night CRUX fellowship where they featured a “Night of Worship”.
