A new series of Faithful with Finances courses begin January 18, 2010 and meet every Monday through the end of February.

Look for registration information in your bulletin the first week of December. You can use the tear- off section and or register on-line for the course.
Space is limited and childcare will be provided.

• Protecting Yourself and Your Family
• Planning for Retirement & Other Major Goals

Thanksgiving Office Hours:

November 26–Offices, Harvest Bookstore, and Cafe 3:20 are closed.
November 27–Offices and Cafe 3:20 are closed. Harvest Bookstore resumes its regular hours.
November 28–Offices resume their regular hours.
November 30–Regular office hours and studies resume.

The Excel Men’s Ministry have both a road ride and a single track mountain bike ride available this Saturday, November 28.

The cyclists will meet in Moreno Valley for a devo and then off to ride to Lake Perris and beyond. For more information and a map go here.

The mountain bikers will meet at Chino Hills State Park for an 8-10 mile loop on the dirt. More information on that ride is available here.

The Men’s Excel ministry is more than bike riding – The purpose of Excel is to bring adventure, recreation, camaraderie, and the Word of God to the men of Harvest. Check out the ministry’s web page at excel.harvest.org.

A Volleyball Tournament is slated for December 5 – Look for a post coming next week with all of the details!

Harvest Christian Fellowship and Cosecha Compañerismo Christiano will host a community outreach event on Thursday, November 26, Thanksgiving Day.

This event runs from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Cosecha, 8880 Magnolia Avenue, between Jackson and Monroe.

This is a celebration for the entire family with food, used clothing, music, medical services and a special Thanksgiving message.

They are also in need of professional healthcare volunteers to be a part of this outreach. If you are interested or need more information, please call 687-7843.

The Harvest Food Ministry provides food boxes to those needy families in our fellowship.
As you know, 2009 has been a particularly difficult year for some families and the demand for more help in this area has given us the opportunity to help serve the Lord by meeting the needs of some families in trouble. If you can donate, please use the list below for the specific items used in our food boxes.

Food items can be dropped off during the week in the the Church Office or on Sundays in the food barrels located on the patio.

• Tuna Helper
• Canned Tuna Pinto Beans (Dry)- bag
• Cereal or Oatmeal
• Jelly
• Canned Vegetables, fruit and meat
• Canned Soup
• Pancake Mix and Pancake Syrup
• Macaroni and Cheese
• Ravioli
• Top Ramen
• White Rice
• Spaghetti -bag or box and Spaghetti Sauce
• Peanut Butter

If you are a single in the Harvest Community, join us this Friday night, November 20 for a Single Living Seminar. It all starts at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary with worship from Greg Mariano and special guest speaker Shane Idleman.

This Sunday night, November 12, please join us for a special night of music and ministry with Stephen Curtis Chapman and Pastor Greg Laurie. This free event features music from Stephen’s new project,  “Beauty Will Rise“, along with thoughts from the Scriptures from Pastor Greg for those who might be dealing with pain and hurt this holiday season. This is an event you won’t want to miss – a night of hope and encouragement for all.

It starts at 6:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Overflow facilities will be open, childcare will be provided.
